Terms of Service

1. Service Description
CloudGovernancePulse (“CGPulse”, “we”, “us”) provides a multi-cloud governance software-as-a-service platform. The Service scans cloud resource configurations, evaluates them against policy rules and compliance frameworks, and offers remediation guidance including infrastructure-as-code templates.
Important: CGPulse is a security posture assessment tool and does not perform, replace, or guarantee compliance audits or certifications. Compliance scores and readiness assessments reflect automated checks of infrastructure configurations only. Organizational, physical, and procedural controls are outside the scope of automated scanning and require independent verification. CGPulse is not a certification body. Results should be used as a starting point for compliance preparation. Always engage qualified auditors for formal certification (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, etc.).
2. Account Terms
- You must be at least 18 years old to use CGPulse.
- One person may maintain only one free account.
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to scan cloud environments you do not own or have explicit permission to audit.
- Attempt to access other users’ data or interfere with the Service’s infrastructure.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the Service.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations.
- Resell access to the Service without our written consent.
4. Service Plans & Billing
CGPulse offers Free, Team, and Business plans. Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a monthly subscription basis with automatic renewal. Prices are displayed in EUR and include applicable taxes where required.
We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice. Price changes apply at the start of your next billing cycle.
5. Cancellation & Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal. Upon cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing cycle.
6. Data Ownership
You retain all rights to your data. By using CGPulse, you grant us a limited licence to process your cloud resource metadata solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not sell, share, or use your data for any purpose other than delivering the Service.
7. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable advance notice. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or service interruptions caused by factors beyond our reasonable control.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CGPulse and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland and the European Union. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
